Does a contractor website need schema markup?

Schema will not magically rank you. Missing or fake schema will waste the crawl on a site that already had enough problems.

The note

The short version

Yes, a contractor site needs LocalBusiness schema with real NAP, hours and services. No, review schema with invented stars will not save you. We ship validating schema on every productized build.

What is worth marking up

LocalBusiness or a precise subtype, Service entities for money services, and FAQPage where you answer real questions.

What is not worth faking

AggregateRating nodes pointing at reviews you do not have, and offer prices you do not charge.

How it shows up in our builds

Productized 14-page fullstack sites include LocalBusiness schema tied to the client verified NAP. The first 10 are free. You supply the domain. After the first 10, founding is $1,250.

Questions this raises
Will schema alone rank me?
No. It clarifies entities for machines. Rankings still need relevance, proximity, reviews and a site people can use on a phone.
Should I mark up every blog post as FAQPage?
Only when the page is genuinely an FAQ. Spraying FAQ schema across sales pages is a fast way to earn an ignore.
Do you include schema in SEO retainers?
Technical hygiene including schema checks sits inside ongoing work when we retain you at $1,000/mo. The build already ships a correct baseline.
Can schema invent a street address for WARDORX?
No. We are a digital / service-area business and do not publish a public street address. Client sites use their verified address.
What to do about it
Published build pricing

First 10 free. After that, founding is $1,250. Launch is $2,500. Schema included.
